## About the Role

* Previous Application Programming/Development experience designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications.
 * Knowledge of Python Django Framework.
 * Knowledge of Angular, ES6/HTML5/CSS3.
 * Knowledge of MySQL databases.
 * Understanding of Git version control system.
 * Understanding of unit testing frameworks.
 * Experience working in an Agile development process and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
 * Experience in data access technologies and patterns.
 * Relational database experience with abilities in SQL and data modeling, including knowledge of SQL Objects, query optimization, and join conditions.
 * Experience with component-based web application frameworks.
 * Conceptual understanding of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID design principles.
 * Ability to communicate, written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Recent Angular Experience.
 * Knowledge of designing and implementing Event-Based integration services using Message Brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
 * Knowledge of software development lifecycle, preferably with Agile, Kanban/Scrum.
 * Experience with cyber security related workflows, solutions, or implementation.
 * Familiarity with .NET Core, Jenkins, MSBuild, Ansible, XLR, or Automated testing.

## Description

This position is for an application developer to contribute to story refinement and requirements definition. The role involves performing proofs of concept to mitigate risk, coding solutions, and developing unit tests to meet acceptance criteria. The developer will utilize multiple architectural components and assist the team in resolving technical complexities while maintaining principal architecture integrity., * Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements.

 * Perform spike/proof of concept work to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
 * Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per the defined acceptance criteria.
 * Utilize multiple architectural components (data, application, business) in the design and development of client requirements.
 * Assist the team with resolving technical complexities.
 * Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers.
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance.
