## About the Role

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions., * Minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering is required; BSME, BSIE, or BSEE is required.

 * One to two years' related experience required.
 * Hydraulic experience is preferred.
 * Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

 * Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
 * Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access experience is required.
 * Excellent knowledge of ERP software; SAP experience is a plus.
 * Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions.

Certificates and Licenses

 * Fluid power certification or willingness to obtain is desired.

## Description

* Responsible for project management of new application designs and requirements as specified by customers.
 * Interact and coordinate designs with Design Engineering.
 * Provide technical training for manufacturing and quality staff.
 * Write technical specifications for equipment.
 * Evaluate bids from vendors, analyze and interpret technical requirements from customer inquiries and specifications.
 * Work as a support role for Product Managers.
 * Coordinate with Operations to ensure quoted product is viable.
 * Provide technical support to Marketing regarding sales inquiries, equipment application, and engineering analysis.
 * Develop and coordinate project plans, communicate changes and progress.
 * Respond promptly to customer requests for service and assistance.
 * Develop effective relationships with distributors, regional sales managers and customers.
 * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 6S practices.
 * Other duties as assigned.
