## About the Role

With a focus on design and usability, this position handles image processing for all sites as well as front end web design with expert level cross-browser CSS skills. Will have some basic coding skills to handle widget creation/editing/configuration tasks. Also handle basic CMS editor content issues (content formatting, image placement, tag usage) as well as format template creation for online edit staff.

Skill set:

 - Expert knowledge of CSS
 - Expert Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/
 - Expert in cross-browser compatibility
 - Expert Flash (including ActionScripting)
 - Familiarity with AJAX/jQuery a plus
 - WordPress theme experience a plus. Experience w/ CMS or framework templated environment (Drupal, Joomla, Ruby) is a plus.
 - Linux environment experience a plus
 - SVN, CVS or GIT experience necessary
 - Design experience specific to the action sports industry is preferred
 - Working knowledge of Web Analytics and applying site usage data to UI design enhancements.
 - Working knowledge of web video applications such as Brightcove, Vimeo, Youtube, etc.
 - Experience with design and development of mobile device apps a plus.
 - Ability to work in a very fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
