## About the Role

Experience: 10+ years preferred; 10 years of DBA experience required for the senior-level candidate profile
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph through the Maryland customer, Database Administration Experience

 * Demonstrated experience working as a Database Administrator in programs or environments of comparable scope and complexity.

 * Experience with:

 * Data migration and replication.

 * Database user administration.

 * Backup and recovery.

 * Database performance tuning.

 * Issue investigation and resolution.

 * General database administration and maintenance.

 * Strong understanding of relational databases and familiarity with non-relational/NoSQL database technologies.

Database Technologies

 * Strong experience with Oracle databases and/or other relational and NoSQL database platforms, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

 * Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL.

 * Experience writing scripts using one or more of the following:

 * JavaScript.

 * Bash/Linux shell scripting.

 * Perl.

 * Python.

 * Knowledge of programming languages, including Java.
