## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience \n
 * 10+ years of experience in data engineering, database administration, or data platform roles \n
 * 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake in a production enterprise environment \n
 * Strong experience building and supporting data integrations (Snowpipe, connectors, APIs, ETL/ELT tooling) \n
 * Strong cloud engineering experience, primarily AWS, including the services that integrate with Snowflake \n
 * Strong SQL skills and scripting experience (Python or similar) \n
 * Experience implementing security controls for sensitive or regulated data (PHI/PII, HIPAA) \n
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with and influence technical leaders \n, * Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools for Snowflake management \n
 * Experience with observability and monitoring tools for data platforms \n
 * Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar data orchestration and transformation tools \n
 * Experience in insurance, claims, healthcare, or financial services technology environments \n
 * Experience with organizational transformation from project-based to product/service delivery models \n
