## About the Role

## Description

The Business Data Analyst will support healthcare analytics, reporting, and business operations by analyzing health plan and provider-related data, developing dashboards and reports, validating data accuracy, and translating business needs into actionable insights., * Analyze health plan, provider, facility, claims, enrollment, and operational data.

 * Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses.
 * Use SQL to query, join, transform, and analyze complex relational datasets.
 * Use Excel and Power BI or similar BI tools to support reporting and decision-making.
 * Apply Python for data analysis, transformation, or reporting automation.
 * Perform data validation, quality checks, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
 * Gather requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
 * Partner with business, operations, and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions.
 * Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation.
 * Document analytical methods, reporting logic, and business requirements.
 * Communicate findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
