## About the Role

* 5 to 10+ years of technical experience, with an engineering, machine learning, or quantitative background; a data science title is not required.
 * Strong quantitative foundations, such as a rigorous mathematics or other quantitative degree from a highly selective university, or equivalent depth.
 * Daily experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
 * Experience as an early startup hire, ideally among the first 15 employees, and the ability to build in a zero-to-one environment.
 * Production-focused technical skills and comfort working with ambiguity and evolving data. Retail or fresh produce experience is not required.
 * Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, and comfortable with a highly demanding startup environment.
