## About the Role

* Strong experience with Java and the Spring Framework
 * Hands-on microservices development experience

## Description

We're looking for a skilled Java Developer to help advance a modern Middle Office Core Platform through new product development and feature enhancements. This hybrid role is based in Menlo Park, CA, with onsite collaboration required three or more days per week.
Responsibilities

 * Design, build, and enhance backend services and application components for a high-impact platform team
 * Participate in technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and solution design conversations
 * Develop scalable, highly distributed services that support business and product goals
 * Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners in a fast-moving delivery environment
 * Write clean, maintainable code and support code quality through testing and best practices
 * Help define interfaces and data exchange between modules and systems
 * Contribute to build, release, and deployment processes as part of ongoing product modernization
 * Support performance tuning and quality improvements through thoughtful engineering decisions
