## About the Role

* 7-10+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering.
 * Proven hands-on experience managing enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Juniper).
 * Deep understanding of securing cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and AWS.
 * Experience with network segmentation, Zero Trust initiatives, and cloud security controls.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in network protocols, security frameworks, and risk assessment.
 * Ability to work effectively under pressure with high stakeholder engagement.

Nice-to-Have Skills

 * Certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific security credentials (Azure AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty).
 * Knowledge of automation scripting with PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
 * Experience in regulated industries including finance, healthcare, or public sector.

 * Manage and optimize enterprise firewall platforms, ensuring policies, rules, and security controls are effective and compliant.
 * Lead initiatives to modernize network security, including micro-segmentation, SASE, and adaptive access solutions.
 * Securely connect distributed workforce and cloud resources through virtual firewalls, VPNs, and SASE architectures.
 * Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analysis to identify and remediate potential threats.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and SOC analysts to monitor security events, investigate incidents, and improve detection capabilities.
 * Support compliance efforts by ensuring security controls meet standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and others.
 * Configure and support security tools including cloud-native security services in Azure and AWS, DDoS protection, and threat monitoring solutions.
