## About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and complex motion analysis to work on a world-class sports performance solution., * Hands-on experience developing and deploying computer vision systems to production.

 * Strong Computer Vision expertise in:
 + Object and people detection.
 + Motion analysis and understanding of complex movement patterns.
 + 2D pose estimation or other advanced motion analysis techniques.
 + Object tracking using modern computer vision methods.
 + Temporal modeling across video sequences.
 * Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
 * Experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating deep learning models.
 * Comfortable with dataset curation, annotation workflows, and model evaluation metrics.
 * Experience working with video involving complex or fast movements, including challenges such as high frame rates, motion blur, and occlusions.
 * Experience with custom pose estimation approaches, including developing or adapting existing models, skeleton structures, or keypoint definitions.
 * Ability to independently design technical solutions, evaluate different approaches, and make informed technical decisions.
 * Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical decisions, discuss trade-offs, and collaborate directly with client teams.

Strong Plus:

 * Experience with 3D pose estimation or 2D-to-3D pose lifting from video.
 * Experience generating and rendering synthetic data for model training.

Nice to Have

 * Familiarity with biomechanics, human movement analysis, or movement screening.
 * Experience working in a Microsoft Azure environment.
 * Previous experience with Sports AI or sports performance analytics.

## Description

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision solutions to analyze and interpret complex movements from video. You will work closely with the client's team, taking ownership of technical solutions, making informed technical decisions, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
