## About the Role

* Able to demonstrate the ability to develop a cloud architecture with various solutions to address computing, storage solutions, security measures, networking, and automation capabilities
 * Have expertise in design, deployment, and management of AWS Cloud environments
 * Understand at a deep level the structure and distribution of computing resources in Cloud Service Providers, such as AWS, Azure, OCI, Google
 * Able to analyze and prioritize usage to most efficiently allocate funds and resources for the necessary workloads
 * Maintain a customer-centric mindset with demonstrated passion for delivering customer value
 * Able to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly to semi-technical customers
 * Able to balance multiple projects and be able to prioritize work to meet customer's needs * Able to bring innovative technical solution ideas to customer problems, * 8 years of experience engineering and administrating IT systems hosted within AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP
 * 8 years of experience working with Linux or Windows Operating Systems
 * 5 years of technical leadership experience leading integrated project teams
 * IAT Level III or IASAE II Certification (e.g.: CISSP, CISM, CASP+, CISA, CCNP Security, etc.)

## Description

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect with technical expertise, strong business analysis, and customer engagement skills in support of a vital national security mission. You will help design cloud architecture and hybrid solutions, provide application support for customer requirements, and make recommendations based on both business analysis and technical acumen.

What you'll do:

 * Lead large technical initiatives and coordinate closely with development teams and project management
 * Provide systems engineering, orchestration, and administrative support for many multi-cloud environments
 * Assist technical delivery teams with the optimization of cloud system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning
 * Utilize Agile Scrum frameworks and methodologies in daily execution
 * Assist the team by advising level of complexity and effort of technical implementation details
 * Interface with customers executing large programs, sometimes supporting multiple vendors, government, and military personnel, that require various communication and collaboration mechanisms to meet mission objectives
 * Advise more junior team members on proper implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments
 * Assist with workload management, patch management, active directory management, onboarding, and any other troubleshooting, as required
 * Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets, Designs scalable, secure, resilient cloud and data architectures for high-volume services. Evaluates cloud technologies, develops reusable Terraform infrastructure and automation, and serves as a database architecture expert for PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, and Valkey. Builds prototypes and reference implementations, designs highly available distributed database systems, coaches engineers, partners with product and SRE teams, and converts validated concepts into production-ready architecture patterns., Architect, deploy, and support AWS-focused multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Manage Okta identity federation, certificates, DNS, networking, governance, security controls, and IaC-based CI/CD pipelines. Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point, validate cloud service delivery, document solutions, and partner with customers and internal engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams. The role requires onsite or remote work with regular travel and an active Top Secret clearance.
