## About the Role

All candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance.

 * Be a US Citizen.
 * Has resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.
 * RealID Driver's License/ID or current US Passport., All non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate at the time of application.
 * ABachelors (ABET)degree in Engineering or related IT field, such as Physics, Aerospace, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
 * Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment isdesired.
 * 3 - 6years of related work experience.

Required Skills

 * Knowledge/proficiency in:
 * Software design and implementation techniques using Python, MATLAB, Tableau and C.
 * Computer operating systems, software, and hardware with proven ability to debug complex systems and conduct reviews, audits, and testing.
 * Understanding of the importance of testing during all phases of the software development process.
 * Ability to:
 * Work independently, as well as on a team, in an agile environment.
 * Research, troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.
 * Learn on the job/willing to self-teach.
 * Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication with high organization.

Preferred Skills

 * Knowledge in:
 * Kalman filtering.
