## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally developing SaaS or web-based products.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
 * Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
 * Experience owning software features from design through production.
 * Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
 * Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
 * Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
 * Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.

Nice to Have: Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, serverless architectures, or regulated environments.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Build and own new product features from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
 * Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
 * Help shape technical design decisions, application architecture, APIs, and database structures.
 * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
 * Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to help establish and evolve modern, AI-driven engineering practices.
 * Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
 * Take ownership of production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
