## About the Role

This role is ideal for an early-to-mid-career developer who genuinely enjoys working in C++ and wants to expand their experience with Linux/Unix, networking, and real-time communications., * Approximately 2+ years of hands-on C++ development experience, ideally with C++ serving as a primary programming language

 * Candidates with strong C++ experience through significant independent, open-source, or personal projects may also be considered
 * Understanding of modern C++ concepts, object-oriented programming, and software design principles
 * Familiarity with commonly used C++ libraries and tools, including STL; experience with Boost is beneficial
 * Experience working with Linux, Unix, FreeBSD, or a comparable operating environment
 * Familiarity with IP networking or network programming
 * Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical discipline, or comparable practical experience

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and enhance applications primarily using C++
 * Contribute to software architecture and object-oriented design decisions
 * Develop features supporting reliable, real-time communications
 * Work within Linux, Unix, or FreeBSD environments
 * Apply IP networking concepts within software applications
 * Troubleshoot application and customer-related technical issues
 * Participate in peer code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes
 * Collaborate with other engineers in an Agile development environment
 * Learn specialized technologies associated with VoIP, network communications, and secure communications
 * Contribute ideas for improving software, engineering practices, and overall product quality
