## About the Role

Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI data models in an enterprise environment with ability to design dimensional models using star-schema principles, conformed dimensions, and appropriate data granularity.

 * Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
 * Strong SQL skills.
 * Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse, with the ability to work across both platforms.
 * Experience modernizing or migrating Synapse workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
 * Working knowledge of Lakehouse & Warehouse Concepts, including experience building pipelines, notebooks, data integration patterns, Delta/Parquet file formats and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data solutions.
 * Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and certification processes.
 * Experience working in Agile environmentsand collaborating across cross-functional teams.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
 * Experience with Python and PySpark is a plus.
 * Passion for data.
 * Experience contributing to or working with Power BI/Power Platform COEs is a plus.
