## About the Role

* Minimum 7 years' experience as an Oracle DBA/Oracle Apps DBA.
 * Proven experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 in production environments.
 * Experience delivering database migrations, upgrades or infrastructure transformation projects.
 * Cloud migration experience highly advantageous.
 * Oracle certifications beneficial but not essential.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join a large-scale environment supporting critical Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) platforms and Oracle databases. This is a hands-on role focused on administration, performance, stability, patching, upgrades and cloud migration initiatives.

The successful candidate will work across complex production environments, supporting Oracle EBS R12, Oracle databases, Linux/AIX platforms and ongoing cloud transformation projects., * Administration and support of Oracle EBS R12 environments.

 * Database administration, maintenance, upgrades and patching.
 * Oracle Apps and Database cloning activities.
 * Performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.
 * Management of Oracle RAC and high-availability environments.
 * RMAN backup and recovery administration.
 * Support and administration of Linux and AIX platforms.
 * Shell Scripting and automation.
 * Environment refreshes and production support activities.
 * Support migration programmes to OCI and/or Azure.
 * Work with WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server and wider Oracle technology stack.
 * Support disaster recovery testing and Data Guard environments.
 * Maintain operational documentation and technical runbooks.
