## About the Role

* Proven experience in Systems Engineering within aerospace, UAV, autonomous systems, defence, robotics, or a related high-technology environment.
 * Experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools.
 * Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, integration, verification, and validation.
 * Experience working on complex multidisciplinary engineering programmes.
 * Familiarity with flight control systems, autonomy, communications, sensors, or mission systems would be highly advantageous.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
 * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up or innovation-driven environment.
 * Degree qualified in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

## Description

* Lead the systems engineering activities across the full UAV development lifecycle.
 * Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to support system design, architecture, and requirements management.
 * Define, capture, and manage system requirements for complex autonomous and remotely operated aircraft systems.
 * Support the design and integration of flight control, navigation, payload, communication, and mission systems.
 * Work closely with software, electronics, mechanical, and flight test teams to ensure seamless system integration.
 * Lead verification, validation, and acceptance activities at subsystem and platform level.
 * Conduct trade studies, system analysis, and performance assessments to inform design decisions.
 * Support flight trials and testing activities, ensuring system performance meets operational objectives.
 * Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
