## About the Role

* Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
 * Demonstratable commercial experience in a Senior Software Engineer or similar position.
 * Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET development.
 * Experience developing software using C++ and Python.
 * Knowledge of API development and software integration.
 * Experience with test automation, source control and CI/CD environments.
 * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
 * Any experience with scientific instrumentation, imaging systems, electronics, FPGA or hardware-integrated software would be advantageous.

* Develop and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, C++, Qt and Python.
 * Design and implement APIs, communication protocols and data acquisition systems.
 * Develop automated testing solutions, verification systems and engineering tools.
 * Support software quality through code reviews, CI/CD processes and release management.
 * Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning software, firmware, FPGA and hardware interfaces.
 * Develop SQL queries, reporting solutions and system integrations to support engineering and business processes.
 * Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
 * Manage multiple development projects while ensuring high-quality delivery.
