This will help find someone who has not only helped build, but also launch such marketplaces ## Description We are looking for an experienced Product Manager - Marketplace to lead product initiatives associated with the design, implementation, and evolution of a digital marketplace. The role will work closely with business, engineering, UX, architecture, operations, and third-party partners to translate marketplace strategy into scalable product capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in eCommerce or marketplace products, including seller onboarding, product/catalog management, offers, orders, marketplace operations, integrations, and customer experience. Experience implementing or working with Mirakl is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities * Own and drive the marketplace product roadmap, aligning product priorities with business objectives and customer needs. * Lead product discovery and translate business requirements into product capabilities, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs. * Partner with business and technology teams to establish marketplace capabilities covering: o Seller/vendor onboarding o Product and catalog onboarding o Product taxonomy and attributes o Offer management, pricing and inventory o Order management and fulfillment o Seller performance and marketplace operations o Returns, cancellations, refunds and customer experience * Drive implementation of marketplace capabilities using Mirakl Marketplace Platform or comparable solutions. * Work closely with engineering and architecture teams on integrations between the marketplace and eCommerce storefront, PIM, OMS, ERP, payment, fulfillment and other enterprise systems. * Collaborate with UX/design teams to define seamless experiences across customer, seller, and marketplace-operator journeys. * Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, UAT, release readiness and product-launch activities. * Establish product KPIs and use customer, seller and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. * Identify dependencies, risks and trade-offs and communicate product decisions effectively to business and technology stakeholders. * Support the transition from marketplace implementation into ongoing optimization and scale.
