## About the Role

* LLM Integration: Basic understanding of LLM tool-calling patterns for future AI Backend Development: 5+ years of experience building scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
 * Tool-Based Architectures: Experience with MCP or tool-based orchestration patterns
 * API & Microservices Architecture: Strong expertise in API orchestration, microservices design, and enterprise REST/JSON integrations
 * Distributed Systems: Deep understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and concurrency models
 * Workflow Orchestration: Hands-on experience designing workflow engines, state machines, and multi-step orchestration for complex business processes
 * Resiliency & Reliability: Proven experience implementing retry mechanisms, failure handling, idempotency, and designing systems for partial success
 * Caching & Performance Optimization: Experience using Redis (or similar caching technologies) for performance optimization, request deduplication, rate limiting, and state management
 * Testing & Quality Engineering: Strong background in unit and integration testing (Pytest preferred), including validation of complex workflows, failure scenarios, and recovery logic
 * Observability & Debugging: Expertise in logging, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems
 * Engineering Excellence: Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and code quality tools (linting, formatting, static analysis)
 * Security Fundamentals: Working knowledge of secure API design, including OAuth2/JWT, authentication, and authorization best practices
