## About the Role

* Proven commercial experience in Software Engineering, developing and delivering production-grade applications
 * Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
 * Demonstrable experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
 * Experience working with Node.js to develop and maintain applications or services
 * Exposure to frontend technologies, ideally Vue.js
 * Good understanding of software design principles, coding standards and engineering best practices
 * Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high standards of code quality
 * Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps practices
 * Experience working within Agile development environments
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams

## Description

* Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot
 * Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support business-critical systems and applications
 * Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js and develop applications and services using Node.js
 * Deliver software solutions across the full development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support
 * Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, ensuring high standards of software quality
 * Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge-sharing activities
 * Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Delivery teams to deliver technical solutions
 * Support CI/CD pipelines, automation and DevOps practices to improve software delivery
