* Academic qualification in a STEM related subject, and ability/willingness to become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineer through an appropriate recognised professional institution

## Description

The Systems Engineer plays a key role in the design and delivery of Combat Systems Shared Infrastructure products, supporting activities from concept through to implementation. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will help develop system requirements, create design solutions and contribute to testing and acceptance, ensuring high-performance, reliable and certifiable products.

Core duties:

 * Produce and maintain system design artefacts, including requirements, specifications and interface definitions.
 * Support the design and development of Shared Infrastructure solutions throughout the full product lifecycle.
 * Identify, assess and manage technical risks, ensuring requirements are fully captured and delivered.
 * Provide design assurance evidence and support design reviews, testing and acceptance activities.
 * Manage design changes, interface updates and technical queries, monitoring design maturity and driving continuous improvement.
