## Description

The Data Engineer reports to the, Data Pipelines and ETL

 * Design and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
 * Optimise data pipelines using orchestration tools for smooth data flow.
 * Implement monitoring and recovery to maintain data integrity.

Cloud Services

 * Build and manage data solutions on Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
 * Ensure systems are scalable, reliable and high-performing.

Collaboration

 * Partner with data consumers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
 * Share knowledge and promote best practices within the team.

Data Governance and Quality

 * Apply governance standards and maintain data quality and security.
 * Document processes and enforce best practices.

Data Landscape

 * Understand modern data architecture principles (e.g., Data Lakes, medallion architecture).
 * Support reporting and analytics, including integration with Power BI.
