## About the Role

* Must possess at least 7 years of IT experience with broad knowledge and an understanding of IT areas such as: Architecture, Infrastructure setup, management, Operating Systems, Database, various types of Applications, Network, and Cloud implementations.
 * Must possess at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Cloud infrastructure and applications
 * Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, security, data, and applications) to deliver end to end AWS cloud Infrastructure solutions.
 * Lead the design, implementation, automation, and operational management of enterprise cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on AWS and secondary support for Azure.
 * Drive cloud architecture decisions, IaC adoption, security best practices, and operational excellence.
 * Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
 * Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
 * Build and enhance cloud automation for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and operational workflows.
 * Establish cloud governance, security standards, and operational best practices.
 * Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
 * Design and create reusable cloud platform templates and landing zones.
 * Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, and application integration issues.
 * Mentor junior cloud engineers and provide technical leadership across cloud projects.
 * Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Networking, and Application teams.
 * Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, SSM, RDS, Lambda, Containers (ECS and EKS)
 * Working knowledge of Azure services including Virtual Machines, VNETs, Azure Storage, IAM, Backup etc..
 * Strong automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
 * Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Strong networking knowledge with DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.
 * Experience with cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance controls.
 * Knowledge of container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
 * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
 * Take ownership of issues, with a sense of urgency, and using sound judgement to resolve within service levels.
 * Ability to work independently as well as work well with others in an integrated team environment and must be self-motivated.
 * Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, work well with others in an integrated team environment, and must be self-motivated.

Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen's client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
