## About the Role

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas and data validation.
 * Experience analysing complex datasets and translating findings into business-focused recommendations.
 * Understanding of data governance, data quality, information security and data management principles.
 * Experience developing Power BI dashboards, data models and DAX-based reporting solutions.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis clearly to a range of stakeholders., * Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

## Description

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting one of the UK's most significant defence transformation programmes. Working within a high-profile business winning campaign, you'll provide trusted, data-driven insight that helps shape critical decisions, influence strategy, and support successful programme delivery.

Day-to-day you'll be:

 * Analysing complex data from multiple business, programme and customer sources to provide actionable insight.
 * Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
 * Ensuring data quality, governance and assurance processes are robust, accurate and auditable.
 * Supporting campaign reviews, governance activities and key decision points through evidence-based reporting.
 * Collaborating with campaign leaders, solution teams and stakeholders to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

The role is based at Donnington or Andover. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum of 3 days on site. The set working times are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
