## About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong mechanical and technical skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. - You'll be working with the Industrial Application Engineering team and reporting to the Application Engineer - Power Transmission Lead. - This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be working with customers on a variety of product applications primarily in our industrial markets. - You will help troubleshoot issues that arise with customer products and help design and recommend solutions using Gates products. - You will help troubleshoot issues that arise with customer products and help design and recommend solutions using Gates products. **Key responsibilities (to name a few):** - Providing engineering service to customers and clients in the proper application and selection of power transmission products - Effectively present technical and product training material to internal and external customers - Working
cooperatively with North American Field Sales, Product Line Managers, and the Marketing Team to achieve organizational success - Analyzing application requirements, providing failure analysis, selecting components, and making recommendations to meet system requirements - Troubleshooting any questions customers pose via phone, email, and in-person.
