## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
 * 4+ years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, information security, IT compliance, or a related discipline
 * Experience assessing controls related to areas such as identity and access management, change management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application controls, and data management
 * Strong understanding of IT general controls (ITGCs) and technology risk management
 * Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOC, and SOX
 * Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
 * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple audits, priorities, and deadlines
 * Ability to communicate technical risks and audit findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

## Description

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior IT Auditor., * Senior IT Auditor will plan and execute risk-based IT audits across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations

 * Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs), including access management, change management, system development, and IT operations
 * Perform testing, document results, and clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations
 * Assess technology risks related to information security, data protection, third-party providers, business continuity, and disaster recovery
 * Partner with technology, security, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders throughout the audit lifecycle
 * As a Senior IT Auditor, you will review remediation plans and perform follow-up testing to validate that identified issues have been appropriately addressed
 * Analyze processes and controls to identify opportunities for improved risk management, efficiency, and governance
 * Prepare clear, concise audit documentation and reports for management
 * Support regulatory examinations, external audits, and other risk and compliance activities as needed
 * Stay current on emerging technology risks, cybersecurity threats, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices
