## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a STEM discipline (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience/combined education; willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
 * Foundational knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing standard software methodologies.
 * Academic or internship exposure to Requirements Analysis, Software Design/Development, Product Integration, and Software Testing.
 * Ability to interpret, review, or develop code using programming and scripting languages (such as C, C++, Python, or Bash).
 * Basic knowledge of software quality assurance audit principles, root cause analysis, or process verification techniques.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

 * Proficiency with software engineering collaboration tools (such as Jira, Confluence, or GitLab/GitHub).
 * Basic knowledge of aerospace or industry-recognized Quality Systems / Models (such as CMMI, AS9100, or ISO 9001).
 * Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or green belt principles.
 * Proficiency with technical documentation and analysis using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
