## About the Role

Experience: Candidates must possess at least five years of professional experience developing solutions with core Java. A minimum of two years of professional experience developing with Scala or other functional programming languages is required. Experience working within a Linux/Unix environment is necessary.

Technical Skills: Proven expertise in writing Unit Tests and Acceptance/Behavior Tests is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong data structure, algorithm, and problem-solving capabilities, along with experience in continuous integration environments.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka, AMQP, MQ, or AMPS
 * Familiarity with distributed systems and REST API design and development
 * Experience with web application development technologies including JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap
 * Knowledge of DDD, CQRS, and event-sourced systems
 * Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
 * Experience with automated deployment technologies including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Docker
 * Understanding of relevant financial industry middle and back-office processes

## Description
