 * Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and website customization.
 * Practical experience troubleshooting website errors, plugin conflicts, and performance issues.
 * Knowledge of website security, hosting environments, backup procedures, and performance optimization.
 * Experience with product catalogue administration, payment gateways, and online order processing.
 * Ability to work independently, prioritize competing assignments, and resolve technical problems.

## Description

Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) is seeking a technically skilled, proactive, and results-driven Digital Platforms & eCommerce Officer the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that these platforms remain secure, reliable, user-friendly, and commercially effective while supporting digital transformation, information systems governance, and organizational compliance initiatives., 1. Website Development & Administration

 * Manage and maintain the Company's corporate websites, ASSLSTORE, CaribMarketHub, intranet, and other assigned digital platforms.
 * Implement website improvements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and database technologies.
 * Manage website layouts, navigation, responsive design, content updates, and functionality across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
 * Conduct regular website maintenance, software updates, compatibility testing, and technical troubleshooting.
 * Monitor website uptime, loading speeds, performance, and overall user experience.
 * Coordinate website upgrades, enhancements, system integrations, and new digital initiatives.
 * Maintain appropriate website documentation, backups, and recovery procedures.

 2. eCommerce & Multi-Vendor Marketplace Management
 * Administer and optimize ecommerce stores and multi-vendor marketplace platforms.
 * Manage product catalogues, categories, attributes, pricing, inventory configurations, and product imports and exports.
 * Configure and maintain payment gateways, checkout processes, shipping methods, taxes, and order management functionality.
 * Administer vendor registration, onboarding, store configurations, product approvals, and marketplace access permissions.
 * Support vendor and customer enquiries relating to marketplace functionality, transactions, and technical issues.
 * Monitor marketplace operations, including order processing, refunds, commissions, and vendor-related workflows.
 * Troubleshoot marketplace plugins, third-party integrations, and transaction-related errors.
 * Identify and implement improvements to the shopping experience, conversion rates, and marketplace functionality.

 3. Website Security, Performance & Technical Support
 * Implement and maintain website security controls, including user access management, SSL certificates, firewalls, malware protection, and secure authentication.
 * Monitor system vulnerabilities, plugin compatibility, security alerts, and website performance.
 * Implement website optimization measures, including caching, image optimization, database maintenance, and content delivery network (CDN) configurations.

 4. Digital Content, SEO & Analytics
 * Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, including metadata, keywords, technical SEO, and structured content.
 * Monitor website traffic, search performance, customer engagement, and eCommerce conversion metrics.
