## About the Role

Wi-Fi, Interoperability, Wi-Fi, Broadband, Best Practices, Quality Metrics, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment/Delivery, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), 802.11, * Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi Alliance specifications and EasyMesh.

Wi-Fi Tools and Linux

 * Hands-on proficiency with Wi-Fi user-space tools and modules, including wpa_supplicant, hostapd, iw, and nl80211.
 * Strong Linux kernel knowledge, including Wi-Fi driver development and cfg80211/nl80211 architecture.

Programming Languages:

 * Proficiency in C and C++.
 * Working knowledge of Python and Java.

Networking and Diagnostics:

 * Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and 802.1X/EAP authentication.
 * Experience with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.

Certification and Development Tools:

 * Experience with WFA certification tools such as sigma-dut and QuickTrack.
 * Experience configuring testbeds and troubleshooting certification failures.
 * Proficiency in version control systems, primarily Git, with additional knowledge of Perforce and SVN.
 * Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira and Buganizer.

Preferred Qualification:

 * Experience with the RDK-B platform is preferable.

## Description

* Lead end-to-end Easy Mesh development within the RDK-B framework, covering architecture, implementation, interoperability, and operator deployment.
 * Represent the organization as an active member of the RDK-B Easy Mesh working group.
 * Collaborate with industry stakeholders to commercialize RDK-B Easy Mesh solutions.
 * Lead Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) Easy Mesh certification programs, including test planning, execution, and resolution of certification failures.
 * Lead interoperability efforts with third-party Easy Mesh controllers, such as Airties.
 * Validate solutions against operator-specific deployment requirements.
 * Manage operator adoption by engaging directly with cable and broadband operators on feature requirements, field issues, and roadmap alignment.
 * Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and CI/CD processes across the team.
