You can follow architecture and delivery tradeoffs and judge effort without being hand-held. You don't need to be coding today. * Program Management Experience: 7-10+ years running technical programs with external stakeholders. Prior TPM, consulting, solutions or forward-deployed engineering, or similar client-facing technical roles all count. * Proven Client-Facing Skill: Ability to describe a past client project, its conflicts, and how you handled them, clearly and without heavy prompting. * Willingness to Say No: You hold a position under pressure, neither a doormat nor combative, and keep the client's trust. * Cross-Functional Track Record: Experience working with Product, Engineering, Support, the business side, and clients on go-to-market products. * Platform-Level Understanding: You learn how the whole product fits together, not only one client's slice, and use that to right-size requests. * High Technical Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication, adjusted for engineers, executives, and clients., * Experience with large enterprise or financial-institution clients * Familiarity with security, compliance, and due-diligence reviews * Experience with enterprise integrations, SSO, or data handling (such as PII redaction) * Exposure to WealthTech, FinTech, or estate and tax planning (helpful, not expected) * Experience building repeatable client delivery processes ## Description A Client-Facing Technical Program Manager (TPM) owns delivery with our largest enterprise clients. You run the weekly cadence, scope what clients ask for, push back when a request is unrealistic, and escalate the right issues at the right time, so our engineers can stay focused on the roadmap. You represent Wealth.com, not the client: our roadmap, our capacity, and what we will and won't do. This role reports into Engineering and partners closely with Product, Support, and the business., * Run the Weekly Client Cadence: Own the project plan, status, risks, and decisions with the client, so engineers join calls only when their depth is needed. * Scope with Judgment: Work out what a client request really requires, such as where SSN redaction should live (database, API, or UI), and turn vague asks into scoped, agreed requirements. * Say No, and Say It Well: Push back with reasons and alternatives when a request is unrealistic, too large, or off-roadmap. Break "A through Z now" into "A through C now, the rest later," without damaging the relationship. * Escalate at the Right Time: Raise critical, blocked, or security-sensitive items early with a clear ask and an owner. Don't escalate everything, and never let an open item sit for months. * Know the Client and Our Plan: Learn each client's needs, constraints, and quirks, and weigh them against our roadmap, team capacity, and competing initiatives. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with Engineering, Product, Support, and the business side, translating client needs into requirements and engineering constraints into language clients accept. * Handle Hard Conversations: Deliver bad news, manage missed expectations, and keep communication steady through delays. * Build Repeatable Process: Turn what works for one enterprise client into playbooks, templates, and reporting that other large clients can reuse.
