## About the Role

* 10+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related experience
 * 4+ years of production Terraform experience, including developing reusable modules and managing infrastructure across multiple environments.
 * 4+ years of Jenkins experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably integrated with Terraform deployments.
 * Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Python scripting, and Python-based AWS Lambda functions.
 * Strong knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, IAM, security, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications: AWS Professional-level or Terraform certification; experience establishing enterprise IaC standards, migrating CloudFormation to Terraform, and implementing infrastructure testing, security scanning, and policy enforcement.

## Description

Our client is looking for a Senior AWS Infrastructure as Code Engineer to automate and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines. Their offices are located in Cumming, GA and the person will be required to work onsite 3x a week. Onsite interview is required.
The successful candidate will have deep AWS expertise and a strong background developing reusable Terraform modules and standardized infrastructure automation across complex environments., * Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including reusable modules, templates, and deployment standards.

 * Automate provisioning of AWS compute, networking, storage, IAM, security, and other cloud services across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
 * Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate Terraform planning, validation, and deployment.
 * Manage Terraform state, dependencies, variables, and environment-specific configurations; troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
 * Maintain AWS CloudFormation templates and support migrations to Terraform-based automation.
 * Develop Python scripts and AWS Lambda functions to extend infrastructure automation.
 * Establish IaC best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability while collaborating with DevOps, development, security, and architecture teams.
