## About the Role

* Engineering background with leadership potential or experience, preferably within a product- or platform-oriented context; bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience required
 * Strong hands-on or functional-technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ideally with a focus on Retail processes and system landscapes.
 * Proven experience managing and leading platform-related initiatives such as SAP upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery, or major technical transformations.
 * Proven knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ERP and it's modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management Integration (WHI), or related SAP integration technologies
 * Proficiency in agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration practices
 * Exceptional communication ability combined with empathy and relationship-building competence to drive effective solutions
 * Strategic mindset, self-motivation, and hands-on approach with a strong impact orientation

## Description

* Primary liaison role between Product teams and the Platform, ensuring seamless integration, translation of product needs into platform capabilities, and alignment of skills and capacity with business priorities
 * Act as a key interface between Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration
 * Relationship building and cross-functional collaboration across product teams and the broader technology organization
 * Provide technical leadership across the platform and support decision-making on architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability
 * In corporation with Platform Owner, Tech Leads, Principal Engineers community: technical advisory support for engineers on solution design, architectural patterns, and technical backlog prioritization, with an emphasis on adherence to platform standards and best practices
 * Contribution to strategic platform direction and long-term investment decisions for technology
 * Lead and coordinate platform-relevant topics and initiatives including system upgrades, disaster recovery, and introduction of authorization concepts
 * Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of new technologies and innovations such as Artificial Intelligence and Automation
