## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior VMware Systems Engineer with strong hands-on experience managing large-scale virtualization environments, preferably within the banking or financial services domain.
5-7+ years of experience in VMware virtualization, including vSphere 8, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9), NSX-T, and vSAN.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure, real-time capacity monitoring, performance Eligible to workimization, server refresh, and hardware lifecycle management.
Strong automation skills using PowerCLI, PowerShell/Python, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with Aria Operations, vRealize Log Insight (VRLI), vRealize Network Insight (VRNI), and infrastructure monitoring tools.
Knowledge of enterprise storage (SAN, iSCSI, Dell, NetApp, Pure Storage), networking, VLANs, routing, and micro-segmentation.
Experience with production change management, incident management, disaster recovery, security hardening, and banking regulatory requirements.
Ability to provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshoot complex issues, manage capacity requests, and coordinate with global infrastructure teams.
