## Description

Skill: Playwright, Python, Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Java, Rest API, DB2, " Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites with a strong emphasis on UI automation using Selenium and/or Playwright, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
" Build and execute automation scripts across web UI, API, and backend validation; ensure tests are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
" Define test strategy by decomposing business and technical requirements into test scenarios, test data needs, and contingency plans.
" Own test planning and execution: test case execution plans, defect management, reporting/status metrics, and release sign-offs.
" Validate REST services through functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure reliable, end-to-end coverage.
" Perform database testing in Oracle (SQL validation, data reconciliation, stored procedure outcomes as applicable).
" Validate batch jobs and end-to-end workflows (scheduling, file/data handoffs, downstream impacts).
" Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies as the team's quality advocate; proactively identify defects early in each sprint/iteration.
" Use and contribute to SDLC tooling such as Jira (test cycle management/defects), Git, and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines)., Agile Team Structure. Candidate will be working closely with Dev leads / Product Owners and client stakeholders and providing hands on test automation solution.
