## About the Role

Required Qualifications **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree is preferred. **Experience:** - 10+ years of overall software development experience. - 8+ years of Java-specific development. - 5+ years of development team leadership experience. - 5+ years with Spring Boot. - 5+ years of web services development (REST, JSON, XML). - 5+ years with SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres). - 3+ years of cloud development, specifically with AWS and Terraform. - 2+ years with JPA/Hibernate. - 1+ years of experience with AI-powered development tools or AI/ML integration. **Technical Skills:** - Extensive knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for building backend mobile platform services. - Experience with NodeJS for developing RESTful APIs. - Expert-level experience with Angular 2+ or ReactJS, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS. - Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs. - Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB). - Experience with Kafka for event-driven workflows. -

## Description

Software Engineer **Location:** Greenwood Village, Colorado (Hybrid) Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the development of mission-critical mobile platform services, from device lifecycle management and provisioning to mobile account systems and carrier integrations.
This role is for a senior-level engineer with previous lead experience or aspirations to become a lead.
The position will evolve into a lead role over time.
You will work in an agile team environment on the backend components for mobile device software.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and motivate a high-performing engineering team through constantly shifting priorities. - Design, build, and maintain backend services supporting mobile device provisioning, activation, account management, and carrier integrations. - Develop RESTful APIs using both Java and NodeJS, with a future focus on migrating APIs from Java to NodeJS. - Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and appropriately tested. - Provide detailed technical designs for mobile platform solutions, including API contracts and service architectures. - Diagnose complex issues across distributed mobile services, evaluate options, and execute the best resolution. - Provide technical leadership on integration activities with carrier partners and internal mobile systems. - Implement new requirements within an Agile delivery methodology while following established architectural principles. - Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities into platform features and engineering
workflows. - Champion the adoption of AI-powered development tools and practices across the team.
