## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
 * Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
 * Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
 * Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts.
 * Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible or similar).
 * Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
 * Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalability principles.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
 * Excellent communication skills in English.
 * Able to work 2 days/week in Zaventem, Belgium without the need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes or similar).
 * Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
 * Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
 * Knowledge of database operations and optimization.
 * Contributions to open-source projects or infrastructure communities.

## Description

* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
 * Manage and optimize infrastructure across Linux-based environments.
 * Automate configuration, provisioning, and deployments with Ansible and Proxmox.
 * Work with Docker (and automated container orchestration) to build secure and scalable environments.
 * Ensure system reliability, observability, and monitoring using industry standardized tools
 * Collaborate closely with the lead architect and developers to enable efficient and consistent delivery.
 * Improve infrastructure security and compliance practices.
 * Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
 * Drive continuous improvement by researching and adopting modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
