## About the Role

* Practical experience providing internal IT support, including supporting end users through a ticketing system.
 * Confidence troubleshooting laptops, hardware, applications, access and common Microsoft environments.
 * Working knowledge of Windows Server administration, including patching and routine maintenance.
 * Understanding of core infrastructure technologies such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and networking.
 * Exposure to Microsoft 365, Entra ID and/or Intune, alongside strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
 * Enthusiasm to learn, take ownership and develop a long-term career in IT infrastructure.
 * Long-term right to work in the UK.
 * Useful but not essential: Jira or another ticketing platform; physical server hardware, storage, backup or disaster recovery; Cisco or Fortigate networks; Linux; Docker or LXC; and SQL, XML, CSV or JSON.

## Description

* Provide internal IT support to colleagues across the organisation, including resolving access, laptop and application issues.
 * Manage and work through infrastructure tickets.
 * Patch and maintain Windows Server environments.
 * Work alongside experienced Systems Administrators on technology that supports the wider business.
 * Get involved in the establishment of a co-located datacenter presence near Glasgow, learning from experienced colleagues.
