## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
 * Front-end development expertise using Angular and/or React.
 * Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
 * Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
 * Experience working within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated environments.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, or Cypress.
 * Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform or Ansible.
 * Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation.
 * Previous consulting experience.
 * Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a newly established engineering capability delivering strategic technology solutions within the financial services sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot alongside Angular and/or React. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications while contributing to engineering standards and best practices across multiple high-profile projects., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular or React.

 * Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
 * Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
 * Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
 * Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps initiatives, and Agile delivery practices.
 * Ensure solutions meet security, performance, accessibility, and operational requirements.
