## About the Role

* Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development experience.
 * Experience with SSAS multidimensional and Tabular models, including DAX.
 * Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
 * Familiarity with Azure data services and modern data platforms.
 * Experience with data validation, testing and quality assurance.
 * Understanding of established BI development standards and architectural patterns.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

 * Experience with Data Vault and Kimball modelling methodologies.
 * Programming or scripting skills.
 * Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
 * Experience supporting junior developers through knowledge sharing and peer reviews.

## Description

I'm currently representing my client, who is looking for a BI Engineer to support the development of data models, ETL processes and reporting solutions, working closely with analysts and developers to deliver high-quality BI solutions., * Develop and maintain ETL processes, data warehouses and SSAS cubes.

 * Build and enhance data and semantic models, including advanced DAX calculations.
 * Write and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures.
 * Support testing, quality assurance, bug fixing and data validation.
 * Troubleshoot data issues and support client queries.
 * Collaborate with analysts and developers to deliver scalable, reliable BI solutions.
