## About the Role

* Strong hands-on programming experience with Java for test automation.
 * Experience developing automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or comparable tools.
 * Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational databases, data models, and data validation.
 * Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouse environments.
 * Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Databricks, Athena, and Apache Spark.
 * Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
 * Strong understanding of data profiling, data mapping, data integration, and data quality testing.
 * Experience with REST API testing and integration testing.
 * Familiarity with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner.
 * Experience working with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
 * Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Python programming experience.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced SR QA/SDET Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions for enterprise applications and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, SQL, AWS, Databricks, and Spark, along with expertise in API testing, data validation, and CI/CD automation.

This position focuses on ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of applications and data pipelines within a modern AWS cloud environment., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Java and tools such as Selenium or Cypress.

 * Develop automated test suites for application functionality, APIs, data pipelines, and system integration.
 * Perform end-to-end data validation, including data ingestion, transformation, profiling, mapping, and reconciliation.
 * Write complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across data warehouses and data lakes.
 * Test cloud-based data processing workflows using AWS Glue, Databricks, Spark, and Athena.
 * Perform API testing using REST services and tools such as Postman.
 * Conduct performance and load testing using LoadRunner or similar tools.
 * Design and manage test data, including data masking and scenario-based test data creation.
 * Integrate automated testing into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and DevOps practices.
 * Troubleshoot complex application and data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and document defects.
