## About the Role

* Experience working as a Senior ICT Technician, Network Manager, Senior IT Technician, or in a similar school IT support role
 * Background working within a school or education environment
 * Good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software
 * Working knowledge of maintaining networks
 * Knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments, and backups
 * Specific technical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure
 * Ideally, experience upgrading a school IT system
 * Friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

## Description

* Oversee the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the schools curriculum and administrative ICT network
 * Manage the schools ICT hardware and software infrastructure
 * Manage school ICT support contracts, technical support, and emergency cover
 * Deliver consultative 2nd and 3rd line technical support
 * Support the ongoing reliability and security of the schools ICT network
