## About the Role

* Proven experience of a python developer with 7+ years in an enterprise environment.
 * Solid understanding of OOP principles, experience using common libraries for data manipulation (pandas, NumPy, datetime, regex functions).
 * 5+ years of front-end development with experience in React, JS, HTLM, and CSS.
 * 5+ years of experience in SQL Server writing basic queries and executing SP's.
 * Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git we use Bitbucket, GitLab)
 * Experience in creating comprehensive documentation using systems like Confluence and bug tracking software like Jira.
 * Proficient in using testing frameworks (unit test, pytest, Jest) to ensure code quality and maintainability.
 * Desirable: Hands-on experience with AWS, AZURE, or other cloud providers. Experience with databricks, adf, glue, ETL's, and ELT's.

## Description

Index Process Automation is an in-house technical team within Benchmarks & Index Management. As Senior Software Developer, you will be a key member in helping shape and build the future of technology for Benchmarks & Index Management. Project work is critical to enhancing quality, growing coverage, improving service and operational resiliency, and increasing automation. Primary responsibilities of the team include centralizing automation, innovation, and research to design, develop, and implement process improvements and simplification. This role will help enable transformational change across the Benchmark & Index Management Operations global team.

Python developer with react front-end and Python backend experience, you will be responsible for developing and helping maintain our AWS hosted web application. Collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and business users to ensure ongoing development with different product teams.
