## About the Role

* A backend language to collaborate effectively with backend engineers

## Description

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer on the Business Intelligence Team at Zotec, you will lead frontend development of intelligent, data-driven solutions that turn complex healthcare billing data into clear, actionable interfaces. You will own the user facing layer of our Business Intelligence products while translating data and backend services into scalable, intuitive experiences. This role is perfect if you're passionate about building performant, elegant interfaces backed by real, complex data. The current tech stack is Angular and Python hosted on AWS, with data stored in SQL Server and Redshift. This role will involve maintaining and modernizing legacy applications in ASP.NET Web Forms.

Proficiency in:

 * Angular, React, or Vue
 * TypeScript/JavaScript and modern HTML/CSS
 * Building responsive, mobile-first web applications
 * Component driven development and design systems
 * Consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to display data securely and efficiently
 * System design skills as applied to frontend architecture, * Design and build responsive, user facing applications that make complex healthcare billing data easy to understand and act on
 * Work with product owners and business stakeholders to shape and deliver product solutions that meet business needs
 * Partner with backend and data engineers to consume APIs and data layers, shaping how BI data is surfaced to users
 * Collaborate with other engineers to learn and share knowledge of modern development techniques, spanning both frontend and backend disciplines
 * Guide technical decisions and support the growth of fellow engineers

 * Create best practices and documentation that help the department understand and apply design standards
 * Continue to expand our automated unit and regression test coverage using tools like Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
