## About the Role

 * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

 * Experience developing automated end-to-end tests using Cypress.
 * Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and unit or integration testing practices.
 * Experience with Material UI or similar frontend component libraries.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
 * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Platform One, or DAF CLOUDworks.
 * Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
 * Experience with data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Liquibase, SPARQL, Elasticsearch, or Logstash.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Front End Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to:

What You'll Be Doing:

 * Develop and maintain frontend software using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
 * Implement frontend enhancements that improve application usability and user experience.
 * Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
 * Participate in pair programming, peer reviews, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
 * Investigate and resolve software defects and troubleshoot production issues.
 * Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated frontend testing.
 * Support the quality of software releases and related test activities.
 * Document software, processes, and technical solutions as appropriate.
 * Work effectively as part of a fully remote team; occasional travel may be required one to two times per year.
