## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant with 8+ years of experience to support and lead application migration initiatives from Endevor and other SCM tools to IBM DBB, Git, and IDz/IDD solutions. This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership, migration expertise, customer consulting, and implementation support while helping organizations modernize their mainframe application development and DevOps practices., * 8+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer, Application Developer, DevOps Engineer, or related role supporting IBM z/OS environments.

 * Proven experience migrating from Endevor or other SCM tools to IBM DBB, Git, and IDz/IDD solutions.
 * Strong expertise in IBM z/OS, application development, software change management, and application lifecycle management processes.
 * Hands-on experience with Git repositories, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and troubleshooting failed builds or deployments.
 * Experience with Groovy scripting, YAML, and DevOps automation practices within enterprise mainframe environments.
 * Strong customer-facing consulting experience with the ability to conduct training, workshops, technical presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience diagnosing and resolving migration and conversion-related issues.

## Description

* Lead and support application migration projects from Endevor and other SCM tools to IBM DBB, Git, and IDz/IDD solutions.
 * Perform installation, configuration, validation, and implementation activities for DBB, Git, and IDz/IDD environments on IBM z/OS platforms.
 * Analyze, convert, and validate existing applications and deployment processes to ensure successful migration outcomes.
 * Troubleshoot complex migration, build, deployment, and configuration issues while providing technical guidance to project teams.
 * Deliver customer training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops on DBB, Git, IDz/IDD, and modern DevOps practices.
 * Collaborate with client stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure successful project execution and adoption.
 * Document migration approaches, technical solutions, best practices, and operational procedures to support long-term sustainability.
