## Description

Ignite Digital is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to support a U.S. Navy program in the Norfolk, VA area. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience developing secure, scalable, and modern applications that integrate data across multiple systems both on-premises and in cloud environments. This role requires working closely with Navy stakeholders to design, develop, deploy, and sustain custom applications aligned to mission objectives., * Design, develop, deploy, and maintain custom applications and mission-focused digital solutions.

 * Build robust web applications, including intuitive front-end interfaces and secure, efficient back-end services.
 * Integrate data from internal and external sources to ensure end-to-end functionality and high-performance operations.
 * Implement artificial intelligence capabilities leveraging Microsoft's AI ecosystem, including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Machine Learning.
 * Develop automation and low-code/no-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
 * Support full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including source control, pipelines, environments, and solution-based deployments.
 * Build and maintain custom components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Apps Component Framework, and advanced Power BI modeling.
 * Deploy and manage solutions across both Azure Cloud and on-premises Windows Server environments.
 * Utilize virtualization technologies (VMWare or HyperV) for system hosting and development environments.
 * Manage enterprise databases using Microsoft SQL Server, including TSQL development, performance tuning, and data modeling.
 * Leverage Azure DevOps and Visual Studio to manage work items, repositories, builds, releases, and development workflows.
