## Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support and maintain the Environmental Information Management System (TEIMS) application suite used by Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) and Environmental Restoration Department (ERD) teams.

This role focuses on troubleshooting, break/fix support, bug fixes, and ongoing maintenance of existing web applications. The engineer will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve application issues, enhance functionality, and support the processing and management of environmental data., * Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing web applications developed using Perl, Python, Django, JavaScript, SQL, and Oracle.

 * Diagnose application issues and develop, test, and deploy bug fixes throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Support legacy application codebases and implement improvements using modern development practices.
 * Collaborate with environmental, safety, and health subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate business needs into software solutions.
 * Develop and maintain tools for environmental data processing, analysis, management, and archival.
 * Work with relational databases, particularly Oracle, to support application functionality and data management.
 * Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and manage work items using Jira and Confluence.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and maintain application reliability.
