## About the Role

* Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance or higher.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus relevant software development experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
 * 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
 * Professional programming experience in C, C++, C#, or Rust.
 * Experience developing, debugging, testing, and maintaining software.
 * Experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
 * Experience with Git, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and automated build tools.
 * Experience developing or maintaining software in Rust.
 * Clear written and verbal communication skills.
 * Preferred Qualifications
 * Rust experience with ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, error handling, concurrency, testing, and C/C++ interoperability.
 * Embedded software, real-time systems, Linux, networking, device drivers, or platform software experience.
 * Experience integrating encryption, key management, digital signatures, certificates, cryptographic libraries, hardware security modules, or secure communications protocols into production software.
 * HAIPE implementation or integration experience.
 * Secure software development experience, including secure code review, static analysis, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and DevSecOps.
 * Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable CI/CD tooling.
 * Experience integrating AI/ML models into software products, deploying models, monitoring model performance, or securing AI-enabled systems.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
